ALL Cricut Design Space Gift Card Holder Designs

Cricutmaker Gift Card Holder Requirements:

- You can use any Light Card Stock for the envelope part, I like the textured kind of paper.

- Poster card stock for the inside pull-out tab, it needs to be thicker than the outside envelope.

- Scoring Tool (sold separately from Cricut machine).

- Glue (hot glue recommended for fast drying time).

I thought I would put all of my gift card holder designs in one post so it's easy to find. I have a sizable amount of projects on Cricut Design Space now and I'm finding it's getting difficult to find what I'm looking for!

I started making these gift card holders because every year the room parents for my kids' school would gift a "giving tree" with gift card contributions to the teachers. It's usually during the holidays or at the end of the year which is why I made both all purpose and holiday designs. So now, whenever we have a giving tree, I send my daughters to school with one of these to hang on the tree! See links to all of my designs below!

Tips:

- Use a hot glue gun to put together this fast. I hear craft glue is good, too.

- Remember to use light card stock for the envelope part.

- Remember to use poster card stock for the pull out part - this helps keep it's shape.

- Fold inwards on the scored side to make a clean fold.

- Fold the bottom of the envelop part on the OUTSIDE. This will make sliding the pull-out part easy in and out.

- Remember when cutting to switch the card stock selection when you make the inside versus the outside so the Cricut machine will know the proper pressure to cut the different cardstock thicknesses.
