Another month and another holiday/birthday to celebrate! If you think about it, there's almost a holiday every month! If you're like me who's constantly in need of cards for holiday and birthday celebrations than this design is good to have. I gift a lot which is why I love the Cricut - it's helps me personalize my gifts even more!

For this project I had some dark paper stock so I made this card design - it includes an insert for lighter paper to write on. It looks like an envelope but is really a tri-fold card. It would look great with a wax seal but in case you don't have one, I included a little cutout so you can tuck the tip of the envelope in neatly to keep it closed! I'm thinking of make a fancier version with little cutouts so stay tuned! Here is the same card with a touch of wax and seal.

Tips

- Crease and line up the inside lighter paper BEFORE gluing. The lighter paper needs to be laid down on the correct side for it to line of up correctly with the outside paper.

- Use an Elmer's type glue so it's not bumpy when you are writing on the paper.
