I have a few October birthdays coming up so I decided to come up with a new card design! I kept it super simple again but this time I added a cutout to keep the card closed in case you didn't have a sticker or wax handy. You can always add a sticker or wax on top if you want to though! What I love most about this design is that it looks so elegant and you really don't need an envelope if you don't want to put it in one. I also sized it to be about 4x6 so you can cut 2 at a time on one of the 12x12 sheets. It doesn't hurt to cut extra cards to have on hand! I also included cutouts to hold a gift card as usual but you can always hide that part (see below tip on details on how to do it). Anyone else glad that there's finally a desktop version?! No more performance issues! Woohoo! I will be posting new designs weekly on Sunday so make sure to check back for more!
Tips:
- For 12x12 sheets, 2 of these cards fit perfectly.
- To hide the gift card cutouts, select all in Cricut Design Space, then hit 'detach'. Then the eye symbol for the four 'C' gift card cutouts. The eye will hide the 'C' cuts so the Cricut won't cut it.
- Fold inwards on the side of the scoring for the best fold.
- I use textured paper to get this look.
